Temporal Lifting
What is Endoscopic Temporal Lift Operation?
The frontal muscle in the face area is the only muscle that raises the eyebrow and is effective up to the middle 2/3 of the eyebrow.
For this reason, when the age increases, the first part of the eyebrow that falls is the outer 1/3 of the eyebrow.
In some people, this may occur due to structural reasons.
This low eyebrow gives a sad and tired expression to the person.
The permanent solution to this surgically is the temporal lift operation. The operation takes about 1 hour and hospitalization is 0-1 days. Since the incision is made from the scalp, the probability of scarring in the area is very low.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia or sedo-anesthesia. Usually no drain is placed.
Edema and bruising usually pass within 3-5 days, and then normal life can be returned. Stitches are removed on the 7th or 8th day and plasters are adhered to the skin in case of edema in the area.
